How are you feeling?
Weary, drained, foggy?
Flat out exhausted?
Frustrated, angry, rage-y?
If you answered a YES to one or more of these feelings you're in the right place!
How is your body feeling?
Stiff, sluggish, spent?
Icky, achy, bloated?
Heavy, hardened, hanging on...barely?
You too? Keep reading! You're in good company.
You've weathered countless personal tsunamis & climbed a professional Mount Everest over the last two years.
You've given everything you have to your family, your work, & to the world.
You're surviving, not thriving. That's for sure.
You've lost yourself a little bit. Or maybe, a lot.
You are not the same person you were two years ago, 6 months ago, or 6 days ago.
And neither are your family, your friends, your colleagues, or your boss.
We're standing on shaky ground, feeling untethered, & yearning for firm footing.
When it comes to your health and self care, you know what you SHOULD do.
And, there's a good chance you're not doing it.
What you are doing is putting everyone & everything else first.
What you are doing is starting things, sometimes BIG things, & not sticking with them.
What you are doing is beating yourself up for not doing better.
You might be wondering....
what does this have to do with leadership or being a good leader?
Great question! Let's dig in!
You are a leader no matter what your job title is.
You lead your children & family, your coworkers & employees, your community & the world.
You are an example to every person you interact with & your actions speak louder than words.
AND, you can't lead if you're hungry, tired, anxious, overwhelmed, angry, or resentful.
You can't lead effectively when your needs & self care come last. Full stop.
Good leadership starts with...
...taking good care of yourself so you can support those around you.
...practicing self care that nourishes you physically & emotionally every single day.
...setting the example & giving others permission to take care of themselves as well.
It's time to create a solid foundation of self-care so you can thrive.
Here is what I know for sure....
It's time to get back to basics.
To start with what we know, do it well, & consistently.
To give ourselves a lot of grace & loads of empathy.
To connect with others & reconnect with ourselves.
To celebrate the small wins, & support each other through the struggles.
If this resonates with you and feels exciting - keep reading!
Lead Yourself is a 4-week group program that will help you create a rock solid self-care foundation rooted in achievable physical and emotional health strategies so you can....
- lead yourself with confidence & grace.
- lead others with competence & empathy.
- and handle whatever comes your way with ease.
Hi! I'm Tanya McCausland.
I am a business owner, speaker, teacher, & nutrition counselor.
I am also a wife & mom of two young kids.
After 15+ years working in the leadership development world I have come to a critical conclusion.....
How you lead yourself - physically and emotionally - is directly correlated to how well you lead others.
You can take all the "leadership training" in the world but if you treat yourself like crap, you'll spread that vibe around to those you lead.
And guess what?
That is the best way to burn out yourself, and your team.
It's a sure fire way to lose those you're trying to lead.
The Lead Yourself program is an outgrowth of my my work in nutrition, wellness, self-care, & leadership with individuals, groups, & organizations.
It combines straightforward concepts in nutrition with powerful lifestyle shifts.
Most importantly, what I teach is achievable for everyone, right now.

Now, let me also be completely honest with you.
I am not a health guru or fad diet fan.
I struggle with the overwhelm that is life, just like the next person.
Through the struggle I have found a few things that have worked for me.
And, to take one right step, everyday.
Because I owe it to myself. And, I owe it to those I lead.
I want to share these things with you!
As American spiritual teacher, Ram Dass said,
"We're all walking each other home.
I help people as I work on myself and I work on myself to help people."
I am fiercely committed to making self-care a non-negotiable for everyone.
To making it about more than small indulgences when we just can't take it anymore.
To making it a natural part of our culture, our organizations, & our lives.
Like breathing.
I am passionate about bringing like-minded people together for support without judgement.
To make self-care guilt free & full of joy.
It is time to change how we lead ourselves.
Together, we can create BIG changes.
Will you join me?
Program starts Monday March 14th!
